whats the difference? which is better?
i dont understand all the medical stuff on the internet

the mini pill is a progesterone only pill and no estrogen, you must take them at exactly the same time each day also they are usually used by breastfeeding moms because estrogen have something to do with breast milk.

the combined pill contains 2 hormones which are estrogen and progesterone.

i think combined pill is better and i used a monophasic one.

If you aren't so good at remembering to take your pill on time then the combined pill is better for you, you can take it up to 12 hours late, and still have it be effective. With the mini pill you only have a 3 hour time where you can take it. The mini pill isn't affected by antibotics. Periods are irregular, but there is less risk of deep vein thrombosis (blood clots). Combined pills give you regular periods, but a higher chance of developing blood clots, especially if you smoke.
