After about 2 years of playing guitar/piano/bass/violin when I realized I had perfect pitch and could actually sing. Though I was always told as early as elementary school I could sing very well.

I used to sing when I was a baby but every time I sang, something bad happened to me, so I stopped singing, & I was envious of other people who would sing & nothing bad would happen to them.

My dad says he has an old reel-to-reel recording of me singing in the shower when I was three, so I guess I started then. Sang in elementary school, jr. high school, high school choruses; university chorus and chamber chorus, opera studio chorus. Opera studio solos. Opera. Still singing, 48 years later. Teaching singing as well.

When I was about three; my family loved to get around the tape recorder, and sing all sorts of songs, from country to('70's, because that's when it was)pop.

I was in choir during my high school years. Otherwise, I started to sing embarrassingly when I was younger.

Around six yrs old, the 1st "full" song I sang was our national anthem. :)
