No. It's better to look at the moon when it is not full as there are more shadows so you can see details better. It's also better to look at it in the winter than in the summer.
Best late night with a 4 year old....winter, wrapped up in pj's and blankets, on the bedroom floor with the sliding glass door open, telescoping the moon. Awesome. For both of us. :)

No. The moon is more attractive when it is not full. I usually get my telescope out when only part of the moon is visible.
