In the question of God, perhaps the initial notion to begin searching for life in another planet is a) telling us there is no God, for we are starting to dismiss the world He created and searching for something else beyond his jurisdiction, or b) He is telling us something bad's gonna happen here, like in the story of Noah's ark, and He, therefore exists, but implies that the Bible isn't perfect, for this end of the world thing is not prophesized.

Just a thought, no offence=)

We have failed miserably in our programs to uplift our fellow poor people. We still have people starving, fighting for bread and looking upon others for basic needs. When we have many important things to do in our own planet......searching life in other planet looks farce.

There is plenty of money and food for the people on earth. It's priorities. People simply don't want their money to be used to help the poor. That's why welfare is so unpopular.
