If you did not burn yourself yes it is okay. If you got a sunburn then it will be bad for it.

It's okay, but I know when I do take a shower after I tan it hurts and I dont see as much color.

I've heard that you shouldn't shower or shave for 3 hours after tanning, but I'm not completly sure if thats true. I know from experience that shaving gives you irritated skin, almost like razer burn.

Yes It is perfectly fine, your tan is not going to go anywhere. You get rid of the burning skin smell and the irritation of 3 hour burn stinging when showering right after, and still get to keep all of it. So go ahead get clean.. :)

if i spray tan i shower first and make sure my skin is completely dry then after my spray tan i wont shower for 12 hours.
natural tanning in the sun or solarium i shower afterwards it doesn't do anything to me xxx

are you talking about spray on tanning? or natural? well if natural of course you can take a shower, but not if its a fake tan.

yes, as long as it wasn't a spray tan, then you should wait a few hours. you might also want to read the instructions on your tanning product they may tell you if you need to wait
