you need to put the line betweent the fuel pump and the carb. there might be a piece of rubber hose here where you can loosen a clamp and install the gauge here

Interrupt your fuel line at the carburetor with a Russell 3 way female connector and a female close nipple into the carb and into the female three way connector. Use one of the empty female sites for a bushing to connect a pressure line (copper) with at least three vibration loops twisted in it before entering the gage inside your cab. Be sure a clean insulator surrounds the copper line as it passes through the firewall.
