deffinetly depends on what your into, but i would have to say for what im into, Halo 2 is really user friendly and fun, Gears of war is awesome, and the Elder Scrolls III morrowind, and Elder Scrolls IV oblivion, all for xbox or 360, those gotta be the best. and the newer maddens are really awesome if you like sports but i dont get down on those often, im more of a shooter.

I'm going to go old-school on this answer and say PACMAN!!! I love it... very simple concept that anyone can understand. But as for newer games, I really like the Sims and Grand Theft Auto series. Also, Resident Evil 4 is good on Gamecube.

this is really up to ther person, but in my opinion, its the legend of zelda: ocarina of time. it has an awesome mix of puzzles, fighting, and adventuring, along with a good cast of characters and an awesome setting. its a simple concept that is carried out wonderfully. my all time favorite.
