How much energy is transfered by the engine?

A 200kg box is pulled at constant speed by the little engine pictured below. The box moves a distance of 2.5 m across a horizontal surface.How much energy is transfered by the engine

Well....... Since the engine doesn't transfer any energy to the box, that part is 0.

But to calculate how much work (the anount of energy expended) the engine does, you'd need to know how much force it has to apply to the box to keep it moving at a constant speed. Then
work = force * distance
