...I call Chelski the "Lottery Winners", because, although they were improving slowly, once Abramovic turned up, they went through the roof!
And to think he nearly came to Spurs, and we could've been in their position now!
But, in all honesty, I'd rather win things the Romantic way ; that is ; by bringing the younger players through, many of them British, and not selling-out!
Sour Grapes? Only slightly!
But how sweet would it be if we beat them for a second time this Season, in the F.A. Cup?!?

There is one thing killing the team and that is trying to buy players that the coach is not happy with. I know Abramo has a huge passion for football but he needs to let Mourinho do his thing as we've seen in the past 2 seasons. He now wants to buy players he want while not pleasing the coach.
The other point that you've mentioned is that Football without money is nothing and I can give you one example if Milan is where it is now and always a big team it's the owner is not only rich but is always willing to buy whatever player the coach want...
It's simple to understand that anyteam without a good financial power is nothing. if today we're comparing Chelsea to bigger team is because of the money they spent in quality players.
Thanx!

are you guys ready for this??? sir alex is gonna retire after winning this season CL. Mourinho will leave stamford bridge for old trafford. roman will leave chelsea as he is bored and goes to buy plymouth cos they won the fa cup, while chelsea won nothing. ballack follows him there cos basically where theres money you bet he is there. shevcenko stays and become next season top epl goalscorer, chelsea finish 3rd but are relegated once the players are getting their salary and hands in their transfer request. chelsea fans, your future have been told.

Yeah, well first if Jose goes then Chelsea problems start but then the same can be said for Man.United if Ferguson leaves.
I think Jose Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world that don't S*** from players and a great tactician of the game.!!!

And YOU are the football authority to declare them flops are you?
CHELSEA won the Premiership TWICE in consecutive seasons WITHOUT Shevchenko and Ballack. What does that say to you?
You can't see because you don't know football well enough, nor are you in a position to see anything... just gossip!!

I don't think so. I believe Essien will shine, replacing Ballack. All Chelsea needs then, would be a central defender & a young striker. Which should be on their summer shopping list.

Dont think they are bad players just dont fit in. They didnt really need them just an obscene waste of money. The have bought the league even though they have in my opinion a very good manager but we have all got to admit they have raised the bar again and made our league even stronger and has enabled other clubs to attract better players. 27 million pound this year for finishing bottom of the prem, crazy money.

Jose has asked for more money today - and Madrid want him, linked ?
He'll just dip in and get some more over-paid mega-stars over and turn things around. Worse for Prem.
