how can you be a good leader? [[this isn't my homework ppl.. ]]?

this isnt homeowrk... im becoming my school leader and i need to noe about responsibilites and duties and stufff. BUT I NEED A REALLY LONG ANSWER. BECAUSE MORE WORDS HELP ME UNDERSTAND. thanks.. THIS ISNT H/W PPL!

You can't be a leader if no one follows. You can't be a good leader unless people follow because they want to.

The qualities of a good leader:

You care about iniquities. You do your best to make sure that people are fair, kind, and have a chance to express their worth.

You inspire people to know the best they are capable of and to follow through.

You communicate with acquaintances the same way you do friends, because they have the potential to become very good friends.

You bless the past because you learned from it, WITHOUT belittling the past (it was someone's creation)

You listen twice as much as you talk, but you speak when you have something important to say.

You embrace challenges that have the potential to serve the masses.

You dismiss opportunities that benefit ONLY you.

You balance your heart and head... too many decisions from either, and people will predict the best way to manipulate you.

And when you can, use good spelling and grammar. It makes you seem smarter than you may actually be.

A good leader is a person with character. A person with character is one who chooses to do the right thing. This person is always considerate of others and the world around him/her. When one has good character, he/she is naturally looked up to and respected by others. A person who has good character will do the right thing even when it is not "cool" to do so. This person leads by example because they are so highly respected.
