Whatever the President does to try to fool us again into attacking a "threat" - Iran - you can also say the same about Saudi Arabia, which is a major source of financial support for Sunni insurgents - and Sunnis, not Iranian-backed Shiites, are still responsible for most American combat deaths.

Indeed, 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis.

So why not attack them OHHHH they are allies... SURE. SURE.

They are contained by diplomacy people, and we could easily talk with Iran and easily avoid escalating a war with Iran but Bush WANTS a war with Iran and your kids! US, people like US will have to go fight it. Not THEM in the Oval Office or THEM in Congress or thier kids...
put the Senate into my rant there too... Not THEM either.

peace.

Well the thing about leader of the world is this:
You could take all the leader of the world put them in one big sack & drop it in the ocean and the only good thing we would loose is a good sack. Look it's like wrestling there all in it to gather, there like brothers, band of stinking brothers

Iran is far more of a threat than Saudi. I don't favor the the invasion of either. The US mil is stretched far enough as for now. Not to say that we couldn't put a hurting on both. Saudi is no friend of Iran BTW. Why do you think the price per barrel of oil is so low? Saudi Arabia is trying to squeeze Iran financially into nothingness. The Saudis don't want war and they are in within lobing distance of an Iranian Nuke.

excerpts from link...this story a few years old

(CBS/AP) President Bush refused on Tuesday to release a congressional report alleging possible links between Saudi Arabian officials and the Sept. 11 hijackers. The White House sought to question a Saudi citizen who befriended two of the hijackers.....
The information is widely believed to center on Saudi Arabia, birthplace of Osama bin Laden and 15 of the 19 hijackers. Saudi Arabia has vehemently denied supporting the hijackers.

Sources tell CBS the redacted section lays out a money trail between Saudi Arabia and supporters of al Qaeda...

Among others, it singles out Omar al-Bayoumi, who gave financial assistance to 9-11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Midhar.

The FBI charges al-Bayoumi, an official of the Saudi civil aviation authority, never lacked for money and is believed to have received funds from a charitable trust run by the wife of the Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. The Saudis, for all their protestations of cooperating in the war on terror, still refuse to allow the FBI access to al-Bayoumi.

I am not in favor of attacking Iran.
I see no reason to attack Iran.
Iran has every reason to fear us.
We imposed a dictatorship on them ....THE SHAH.

[the Shah had decreed that all Iranian citizens and the few remaining political parties must become part of Rastakhiz. [12] The Shah also authorized the creation of the secret police force, SAVAK (National Organization for Information and Security, which was organized with the help of the CIA.).This infamous agency operated its own secret prison, used torture extensively, assassinated dissidents, and kept the CIA informed.

Just one of many dictatorships we helped establish in the World.

We supported IRAQ during the Iran/Iraq war.
Which Iraq started ...by the way.
I can see no reason to attack Iran.
Even if I don't like them.

You seem to ignore the fact that Saudi Arabia is home to the holiest of Muslim cities (maybe wikipedia can help you figure out which one it is), the richest of Muslim rulers, and one of the world's largest sources of oil. And as for your Sunni comment: Sadr city is a much larger mess than Sunni strongholds, something that you can attribute directly to the materials provided by Iranian operatives in the region... I'm not for war, I'm not even all that conservative, but at least get your reasoning straight buddy.

By the way, the Senate is PART of congress. . .

Saudi Government's decision is always framed at White House and enacted in Riyadh...Saudi is not a danger zone for US even though great Terror gangs hide and trained inside some of the Saudi houses...

Iran is the real threat to US..If US tries to punish it, it will endanger international peace and security as Iranis are living all the parts of the world and will easily get united and will work against the world peace once their libery is threatened by any out side force....
