Here's any easy one....make a word scammble using the names of people in the bride and grooms family.....you know like scambble the name Elizabeth....(azlibtehe) try to go back in the family tree and find some very different names...the fun thing is to NOT tell the players these are all family names.....you can use first, middle and last names...also at the end ask if anyone can figure out what all the names have in common...maybe give a prize for that...if everyone hasn't figured it out.

This one's easy enough to do on a computer. Across the top of the page, spell out the bride's and groom's first names and the groom's last name. Down the page make two columns of blank lines. Have the guests use the letters in these names to spell as many real words as they can. They may rearrange the letters in any order they wish, but may only use the letters that are there -- can't use two Rs if there's only one there, etc.

Another word game that's easy to make on a computer (especially if you have Excel or something similar) is a word search puzzle. Make a grid of squares that fills 2/3 of the page. Fill in one letter per square and spell out words (words relating to weddings, brides, grooms, and such) in a straight line -- forwards, backwards, or diagonally. Leave blank spaces around these words. Fill in the blanks with random letters so the words become hidden. Print that out and hand each guest a copy. The one who finds the most words wins.

Either of these would make a fun addition to other, more active games.
