In general, a person can have reservations about something... good enough but when time and place changes the perspective changes too, for the coordinates are different.
Like for example, in many societies we are brought up by saying 'Don't touch the leper.' It so happened, that a lady leper was crossing the railway tracks and she found herself struggling with her dress caught onto one of the bolts on the rail. She could not bend and remove it as her hands were full of food that she may have got from begging. The engine driver was blowing the horn full blast. A kind person moved forward and did the needful to her dress and her life.
This proves that there is not another person required for persuasion. It just happens with time and place irrespective of one's reservations.

Apparently, stand more toward the left side of them than the right.
Because of the way your eyes would be shifted to the left, therefore activating the right brain more than the left (the right brain tends to be less linguistic and more spatial and emotional), you will cut down on the linguistic proceses that are trying to come up with counterarguments, and cut straight to the emotional brain. It isn't foolproof, but studies have indiciated that you would have a much better chance of convincing someone.

Honestly..........I am a flexible person so dont mind trying my hands on new stuff . I believe knowledge always pays so I dont keep myself reserved there but if ever I have reservations then I think the only thing other person has to do is to remind me one of my fav line, 'There is no harm in trying. Just give it a shot. You might end up liking it . If not, you can always say no . Dont say no w/o trying ur hands on it or getting a personal experience. '
Maulik, ur answer is kool.........
P.s.# Communication is also a key to unlock the reservations.

This is a tuffy! I'm a stubborn woman and if I feel a doubt in doing this something I won't be doing it no matter what. God throws out red flags for me! I pay attention. So, if I have reservations about something you better go to the next person in line!
Any time, Kimberly. I don't say it if I don't mean it! ;)

If i really do not want to change my mind i will not. If my reservations are based on bad information i wil change my mind probably. It's all situational but generally i stick with what i feel is right; honest and best for all concerned. will not. If my reservations are based on bad information i will change my mind probably. It's all situational but generally i stick with what i feel is right; honest and best for all concerned. Is something wrong??

First why persuade someone to do something they have reservations about ?
Accept them the way they are.
I think best thing we can learn is this :
Nothing is real.No one is right / wrong. People work perfectly.
Every one has their own map of reality.
Still if you want to Persuade someone read :
"Power Principle"

a good salesman or saleslady could make you part with your money , even if you have reservations about the product.
a charmer could charm you, is that not what it is all about ?
if someone can motivate their motive, they deserve a chance.
Having reservations does not mean something is wrong.

They would have to make sense.
This may seem too simplistic but most people don't make much sense to me and someone who does make sense doesn't come along very often.
