World Of Warcraft> u have hunter + rogue?

Question

if you have both of them, please tell me which do u like better for ganking , world pvp, and just throughout the game and why. ( i am very expirienced with both . i got a 40 hunter on a pve server and i own everyone completley 6 levels above me in pvp. same with my 30 rogue) but i want to make either a hunter or a rogue on a pvp server. what do u guys think?

Rouge is the best if you can aviod being spotted in stealth. With a little planing, hunters do pretty good at longer ranges, just realise that your pets will not be targeted by human players.

To the guy who posted above me: You can't transfer from a PVE server to a PVP server. You can only go PVP -> PVE, so there's no way people are doing that to gank people.

To the asker: I don't know which is better for ganking since I've never played a rogue to a respectable level. I have a level 60 hunter though, and at times they're okay for PVP, but they have their dead zone where they can't shoot or melee and casters can kill them if they're smart. They're best when you are far away from your target and they don't see you, and you can drop a ton of their health with Aimed Shot, then hit them with Daze and continue shooting away. Rogues I'd imagine are better because they can stealth and have higher DPS.

I wouldn't call a level 30 and 40 'very experienced.' And since 'ganking' means killin someone when they don't expect it, I would probably go with the rogue for the stealth, unless you get an elf hunter, though I don't know how good their stealth actually works. Good luck leveling to 70 on a pvp server though. From what I hear most of the guys on pvp servers transfer from a pve after they hit 70.
