Why doesn't ghana, africa have earthquakes.?

It is NOT located near any major fault lines.
But something you may want to know- all areas of the world, including Ghana, Africa, can have earthquakes. Our earth is constantly shifting her shoulders-so to speak, and a major quakes many miles distant can be monitored in non-quake areas, but you wouldn't feel it they are so low on the richter scale.

its in the middle of its tectonic plate so it doesn't feel the quakes from the edges
