Better make just a simple text flyer for your first time.

1. Open up your word processing program.

2. Type everything in without worrying about centering, type size or colors. Just get it all on the page.

3. Run your mouse over your title while holding down the left click button. This will highlight the title. Now go to the top of the page and choose format>>>font (or something comparable for your program)

4. Choose the font face (usually Arial) and a size. (36 is good for a title, then you can re-size if necessary)

5. Now drag the mouse to highlight the body of the text. Go to the top of the page and choose format>>>line>>>center. You can also highlight sections of your text to make it different sizes, like you did with the title. You can make some of it bold by highlighting and clicking the letter B at the top of your screen.

That's a simple flyer for the computer illiterate. Maybe you could post more specifics if there are things you'd like to do, like add photos or whatever.
