Do what I do......ignore her and when you're in public, act like her to embarass her. When she tells you to stop, say "Now you know what I have to deal with"

You didn't say how your mom is weird. I guess you could say that a lot of people think that their parents are weird. They don't think like we think they should. But maybe that's because they love us and want to do the best they can by us. I wish I had more information and for now all I can say to you is be thankful that you have a mother. So many of us have lost ours. I for one can honestly say that when you lose your mom, you have lost the one person in the world that loved you more than anyone else does or ever will. There is no husband or wife or child that will love you any more than your mother. The sacrifice mothers make for their children surpasses any other. To lose ones mother is to lose their best friend. I wish you luck in your understanding your mother. Maybe ask another question concerning this but give more info. Take care and God bless....

All moms are weird, so ha ha. You can't escape us. Once you're out of your teens or 20s you'll think we're normal again and then you'll have kids and start acting like us! You CANNOT escape this fate! (insert evil laugh here)
Really, hon, your mom loves you and there's not much you can do about her weirdness. Just gently let her know that maybe she should think back on the way she felt about her mom's actions when she was your age and ask her to ease off. Just tell her it's because you are the age you are and you need to exert your independence. Also, if you want a support group, ask your friends about all the stuff their parents do to embarrass them. Good luck!

Unforunately moms are moms and you can't get rid of them. THe best advice I can offer you is talk to her, but do it in a way that won't hurt her feelings. I wish I could tell you more, but I don't know the whole situation. Good Luck!

Weird can be a good thing too! How is she strange? In what way?
I have been thought weird by many who do not understand me. And yet, I am quite normal to others.
Accept her for who she is, just as you accept yourself. What you deem as weird is normal to others.

If you mean weird like eclectic or goofy, you'll appreciate it later. If anything, you'll build character.
