Before we turn the world upside down with new treaties and restrictions, the Science world needs to prove for certain that global warming is real, and that it is a man made situation. The reason I say that is because scientist have proof that global warming has occurred more than once in the past.. at one time for instance, Antarctica was a forest with wildlife.. Fossils and core samples prove this to be true.

Has anyone died from global warming yet? I prefer a little scepticism if it avoids a panic over something we don't have all the information about. You can't always predict everything based on fear, so it seems prudent sometimes to have a little evidence. There are alternate theories that global warming might be a natural phenomenon, and it seems to be supported by historical evidence. For example, the Eocene period had much higher CO2 levels in its atmosphere than today, and the temperature at the poles were comparable to tropical temperatures today. Ice ages come and go, without SUVs to cause them. Blaming Exxon sounds like hysteria, not science.

What I think is that to err on the side of safety is the prudent thing to do. If I and All Gore are wrong go ahead and yell about a cleaner planet, but if Exxon is wrong and the grand kids are under water we haven't left a very good legacy to them.

We do something. Think of it this way, if it IS occuring then taking action would prevent potentially mortal dangers for all species.
If it IS NOT, then taking action would still encourage independence from foreign energy sources, innovation in engineering, and open a whole new area of development and technology for the next generation.
Plus, we can live in the environment the way it is now, so why not preserve it instead of risk making it worse and potentially unlivable?

The Dems are undecided about terrorism but actually want to spend money on something we no nothing about and can't change. I will say one good thing about Dems, they will not cut & run from global warming. Hillary will decimate our military and open global warming bases at the North Pole.

Yes it is and we are doing virtually everything to keep it going. Most people don't want to believe our lives could be drastically changed (it's unpleasent to think of such things). We are close to the point of no return. It's a shame that as much as we love our children, we're peeing on their future.

if ,,if's and but's were candy and nuts we would all be happy,
no some fool would complain about the wrong kind of candy
if global warming is happing we probably don't have the power to do anything because it is a natural ocurance,,,when we start controlling global warming ,,,we can also control tornadoes and hurricanes,
that would be good ,,then we could work on day and night
i am scared of the dark!!!!!

we should definitly do something about it.
Did you know that jelly fish are mutating because there is to much carbon in the water from G.W.?
G.W. has been around longer then some people know and the people who did know about it just egnored it. If we egnore it, itll just get even worse. We are slowly killing the animals, the planet and ourselves.
