I have a very irregular period, wich my doctor told me was fine because i am very athletic. but sometimes inbetween periods ill get one day where ill spot a little bit, and it will go away. is this normal or should i tell my doctor?

This is normal. Every woman is different when it comes to this stuff. The timing and length of your period may be irregular now. Over time it should regulate.

It's probably a good thing to continue mentioning to your doctor as things change. This way they can take care of anything that may seem abnormal to them.

I personally have the exact same thing... Exept my periods are every 5-8 months.... O_o; It's fine. Its just genetics. My mother also had the same thing untill she gave birth, at which time she became regular.

Many women bleed when they ovulate. That's what it sounds like to me. It is perfectly normal. You can take my word for it, or pay the doctor to have him tell you the same thing. Good luck!

tell your Doctor but period can depend about situations around us like stress or the way we feed ourselves

It'll get normal I think, for most girls it starts off like that. You should tell him and maybe he can prescribe you contraceptive pills to regulate it.
