start to type the number 192 in your browser. It should auto-fill the address of your router control panel (probably 192.168.1.1) When that comes up, hit enter and you should be in. open you web browser and type 192.168.1.1 (assuming its a linsys router) when the authentication box opens, go to password and type admin. that opens the page where you can adjust your settings.
