someone reported you or does yahoo actually go through and read some of the Q's & A's and decide themselves that you are in violation?

I got the most stupid violation earlier! Someone asked, "Do you know what I'm saying?" That was the whole question and I said, "Not a clue" and got a violation for that!?!

If you get a violation, it simply means some whiny little pillow biter hit the "report abuse" button because it makes them feel all powerful and important.

I'm not sure...often I think it is that the asker reports you because they don't like your answer...I've been "violated" a few times for no reason...and have asked the same question and received the answers..someone reported you...and others have said that it's Yahoo!. There are way to many report worthy questions that are not reported or removed.

Only when someone reports you
Ask yahoo to review it and make a decision if it was a fair violation

There are a bunch of drunk chimpanzees that assist yahoo in picking random questions out of a hat and giving them violations for no reason at all.

There is no defense against this and no nogic either.

I think they actually read them. I've gotten violations that had a thumbs up and no thumbs down. It was about 2 months after the question was posted.

HOW IT WORKS........

Your question and/or answer is reported by another USER. The question or answer being reported is then usually pulled from the site. Then the report goes to the Y!A team, which goes through gajillions of reports, and decides which are serious enough to warrant closing the person's account, or ignoring it.

I did get a violation once because I call the person who asked the question a bad name. I think if he was offended he complained or someone answering complained.

Yahoo doesn't even read the abuse reports let alone all the questions.

Don't worry about it. I've been reported twice for no real reason. You just lost your Yahoo/A virginity, that's all!:o)

Some one reports you and then if they're not too busy Yahoo will evaluate it.

Just the way I see it.
