Because they despise our way of life , our democracy , our freedoms , excesses , & ability to embrace any religion.

They also do not accept any society that gives women any respect or authority.

For one, the USA is chasing down their leaders, so that could make al Qaeda a bit jumpy, maybe even a bit mad. They might even feel a bit cornered. Cornered people can feel they have nothing to lose. Let's see, our President pretty much dared enemies of the US to fight by saying something like "Bring it On". Hmmm, the US backs Israel, whom a lot of extremist groups dislike heartily, so that could rile up a bunch of people as well. Well, for quite a while the US has been involved in military incursions in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Bush has been saying not so nice stuff about Iran and Syria. People could get the idea Americans don't like the Middle East or Muslims. Many countries of the world think the USA is decadent, arrogant, and is trying to push their western ways onto the rest of the world. Quite a few people don't like the spread of the western life style; and are afraid, and fearful people can do all sorts of things to protect their way of life. The USA isn't exactly winning Miss World Congeniality here.

in case you sit down and easily think of roughly this without letting your thoughts get the main suitable of you, you will start to understand Al Qaeda is relatively like a small branch of the Nazis. They hate the Zionists, and all human beings that helps the Zionist circulate. They sense that Jews should not be residing in Israel, considering that they suspect it belongs to the Palestinians. there have been wars in the midsection east for a minimum of the final 2,500 years. this is not significant who the final president replaced into or who the subsequent one would be. this is going to be an ongoing conflict in the midsection east perpetually.

The birth of terrorist groups like al qaeda is because of the u.s. and its foreign policies, most terrorist groups have sprung up because of some american foreign policy violating the local thinking, so if most of the terrorist groups came into existance with one primary target > destruction of usa, who are they going to target? certainly u.s.a.
These terrorist organisations are going to continue targeting america untill their demands are met or untill some thing terrible happens, .

Because our beliefs are the exact opposite of theirs and they realize how powerful we are and are afraid that our system of government will eventually reach the entire world. That would mean the end for them. For instance: their women would no longer have to be subservient to the men. They don't want that. That's just one example.
