For it, or at least for civil unions. I think that the more committed relationships of any kind that there are, the better off society will be.
Those who think that same sex marriage is a threat to the institution of marriage aren't thinking it through too clearly. Marriage as an institution isn't threatened by people who really, really want to be married. It's threatened by people who enter into marriage lightly, without much thought or commitment, by those who fail to take their marriage vows seriously, and by those who live together and have children without marrying. Divorces happen, some are inevitable, but the very high divorce rate in this country says that marriage is in trouble.
Maybe marriage is obsolete, I don't know, but if it's on its way out, it isn't the gay and lesbian community who're killing it -- the irony is that they're among the most pro-marriage group in this country!

I agree with same sex marriage. You don't choose who you fall in love with.

When you're conducting polls, be careful how you ask the question. People have a difference in their minds between the phrases "same-sex marriage", "gay marriage", and "civil unions between two men or two women". Your results will change depending on how you phrase it.

For or against is a funny way of putting it. I believe in equal rights for all people. It is none of my business who anybody else chooses to marry.

I disagree but do not beleive we have the right to impose our moral beliefs upon others, unless their behaviour is impact in a negative way upon our society.
