I heard someone say this as an answer to another question, so I wondered if there were others who would agree with this.

Those opposed to the war are entitled to their opinion and are free to speak their minds, those who carried out 9/11 had NO RIGHT to do what they did.

I have more respect for those who opposed the war from the very beginning, because they had the courage to take an extremely unpopular stand.

I have less respect for those who came to this realization later when they saw that the war was becoming unpopular.

How could any decent person have any respect for those that perpetrated such extreme mayhem as the 9/11 attacks?

No I do not respect Al-Qaeda or the attackers of 9/11 their
criminals and murderers with no honor they killed innocent
children/women on 9/11 like Rudy Guliani said there is no
way to justify that. I have no problem with people who are against war and violence you know even soldiers hate war because it's
a horrifying waste of life.

No... those who oppose the war are resisting non-violently, the
9-11 attackers commited murder. Then again the reaction was to attack unrelated Iraq and kill many many civilians.

a Life is a Life.

And ever person who dies there had a mother and a father and thier life story to tell...

think about that.

All Iraqis, bought food, went to school, had teachers, had doctors if they were able.

All our troops, probably had girlfriends or boyfriends, spouses, kids! This war is wrong.

To ask for this situation to continue is wrong.

It is a call for wanton killing and IT DIDN"T HAVE TO HAPPEN PEOPLE IT IS MANUFACTURED BY AMERICA AND BUSH AND HIS CRONIES.

end it.

I have more respect for those who oppose the war than those who carried out those attacks.

But I have even less respect for those who disrespect our soldiers

Those who carried out the jihadist attacks went down in flames like martyrs not like a cowardly soldier croaking on an ER table.
Most of the idiots who oppose the war oppose it for the wrong reasons, which is basically just to save the lives of their own filthy children instead of stopping an illegal occupation.

That's a lesser of two evils question. It's like who's worse Hitler or Stalin? Either way you have to choose a despicable group of people just Al Qaeda is a little worse.
