It is highly unlikely Iran will be attacked by the UK or the USA. President Bush is looking to get OUT of the Middle East, not IN. He really does not want to stir up another pot. The Pentagon probably has contingency plans in case they ever do go to war with Iran but they have plans like this for nearly every country. As far as the UK is concerned, if Gordon Brown becomes PM then Britain will withdraw completely from Iraq because the war is very unpopular there. Israel may indeed launch air strikes in order to destroy their nuclear program, but there probably will be no ground invasion. Certainly no prospect of regime change.

Bush has been bragging again. You know the Republicans didn't really think they would loose last Election in November. This why George Bush waited until the last second to fire Donald Rumsfeld. These plans were on the table long before the BBC ever got a hold of them. I'm sure they are 2-3 years old myself. Bush had plans to invade Iraq well before he was ever appointed President. I say appointed, since he was never elected by the American people.

Whoever leaked this plan would be leaking exactly what Dick Cheney (and most fans of the US not being shy using force) would like to say to Iran. "If you don't stop your enrichment program and stop sending weapons into Iraq, we will destroy your nuclear program and your military." It is a threat that would cause a political storm if said officially. Now there is the option to deny it and not do it, but there probably are plans to hit any known valuable targets in Iran.

You need to realize that the US has plans to attack just about every nation on earth. In many cases there are several different sets of plans to cover various scenarios. So I would make nothing of any plans supposedly revealed to the BBC or anybody.

You do not even know the authenticity of these plans. This could have as much truth to it as did the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Watch Glen Beck on CNN! I don't think we need to here about plans for Iran. They announce their goals publicly ALL the time. Not just death to the USA, their president is telling his people to imagine a world without the USA and promising the day will come soon. Sounds like we need a plan to me.

There is a contingency plan for more than you could imagine. They have been in place for decades and are updated quite regularly. It's not news. You may think it is due to the liberal controlled media.

BBC is about as reliable as the National Enquirer. Make nothing of them.
