Yes.. soak your bearded in a warm tub of water.... When ever mine didn't go we did that and he would actually go in the tub (have sanitizing wipes ready lol)

What kind of substrate do you have your bearded in?? My husband was doing research and found out that the loose substrate (the bedding that you buy at pet stores) can actually cause blockages that can kill your bearded. We use tiles.. I can send you a picture of our set up to show you if you like. But my husband belongs to a bearded dragons forum, and that is where we learned most of our valuable info! Please contact me if you like! You can contact me through my profile.. then I will give you my email if you like....

Yep, soaking them in some shallow, warm water (like bath temp) can induce them to defecate. Just make sure it can hold its head above the water. We recommend soaking for about 15-30 minutes a day, just don't let the water temperature drop too much.

Sometimes it can take a few days for them to go, but after that you should take it to a vet. Sometimes bearded dragons can become impacted, basically clogged up inside, and need some meds or procedures to get everything moving again.

Be sure to not keep it on sand, ever. Beardies can accidentally ingest sand while catching prey and it is the number one cause of impactions.

Also, I don't believe it can be sexed that young.

Put the dragon in luck warm water. in a tub or sink but it cant be too deep just enough that the dragon is able to stand put it in the water and let it take its bath. that is how they get clean. and it helps them do bowal movements. and to find out what it is look at the the bottom of its tail near the legs. if you move the tail up towards its back there will be two vent like slots if its a male and one if its a female.

How is the heat? Are your temps over 70 degrees? If it is too cold, they can not digest properly.
Try raising the temps more and putting a large shallow dish of warm water for her to soak in. Rubbing around the cloaca in warm water will sometimes loosen them up as well.
If not, bring her to the vet.

Hello,
Bearded dragons are considered to be good pets for most people, even those who have no previous experience of keeping reptiles. Most families especially kids now like to have bearded dragons as pets as not only they are friendly but also adapt well to the surroundings.

A good reference book you should read is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=571
Cheers ;)

When my female beardie has the problem you are referring to, I put her in the tub and let her run around in the warm water. The exercise will create a bowel movement.

I've been told if you want to make your dog do no 2's, like before going on a long car trip or something, to stick a match up its behind, and it won't be long till its doing its business.

I don't know if this applies to reptiles too, but worth a shot i reckon.
