I have A huge test tommrow and its on Gone with the Wind movie
Can someone please tell me every thing about the movie..
such as where were they in the beggining,Middle,&End. Were did they go. Who was all the charececters and wat did they do. Who married who. Who died. So can someone please Help me??

In the begining Scarlett O'Hara lives with her sisters and parents on Tara, the cotten planatation in Georgia where she grew up.

After her first husband dies she moves to Atlanta, which is also in Georgia. Unlike the quiet farm life on Tara, Atlanta is a bustling city. Scarlett lives there with her sister in law, Melanie, who is also married to Ashley, the man Scarlett loves.

The civil war is going on during this time and when the fighting gets too close to Atlanta, Scarlett flees back to Tara.

After the war ends and the South surrenders, Scarlett moves back to Atlanta with her second husband, Frank Kennedy, who was engaged to Scarlett's sister Sueellen, but Scarlett stole him away. She didn't love him but she wanted to use his money to pay taxes on the Tara plantaion.

After Frank's death, Rhett Buttler steps in almost immediately and asks Scarlett to marry him, so she does and moves in with him in a rich home, still in Atlanta. This is where she stays until Rhett, finally fed up with Scarlett's love for Ashley, leaves her. Scarlett feels like she has no where to go and nothing left to care about. Then she remembers Tara. At the end of the movie she is still in the house that she shared with Rhett in Atlanta but she is planning to go home to Tara.

He first sees Scarlett at a barbeque at Ashley Wilke's plantation when she is sixteen years old. He hears her confess in a very unladylike way to Ashley that she loves him. Ashley Rejects Scarlett because Ashley is going to marry Melanie Hamilton. Rhett falls in love with Scarlett on the spot because he feels she is as selfish as he is. Scarlett is very embaressed about being overheard by Rhett so she is not romanitacally interested in him, and when Ashley rejects her, she flirts with Melanie's brother Charles to make Ashley jealous. Then when Charles asks her to marry him she says yes, to make Ashley jealous. She is only married a few weeks before Charles goes off to war and dies of pnumonia, but she remains Melanie's sister in law for the rest of her life.

After he wife's death he goes a little insane. He talks about her as if she is still alive. After the war ends, everyone at Tara is left very poor, however the neighbors who the O'Hara's considered to be "white trash" stopped by Tara to gloat about becomming friends with yankees, and how they would buy Tara with their new wealth. Gerald jumps on his horse and chases them off the plantation, but tries to jump a fence and fails. He falls off the horse and dies.

Bonny Butler
Bonny is Scarlett and Rhett's child. Rhett spoils her and gives her a pony. Bonny tries to make a jump that is too difficult for her and falls off the pony, breaking her neck. She is around five years old, although they never say her age in the film that I can remember. After Bonny's death Rhett is inconsolable and refuses to bury his daughter until Melanie Wilkes intervenes. Almost as soon as she has gently convinced him to bury the child, she faints.

Melanie Wilkes Hamilton
Melanie is very frail. She has one child and is warned that a second pregnancy will kill her, however she gets pregnant anyway wanting to bring new life into the world. Melanie is aware that many people feel Scarlett is not really her (Melanie's) friend because there are rumors that Scarlett wants to steal Melanie's husband Ashley. Melanie loves both Scarlett and Ashley and doesn't believe the rumors. On her death bed she tells Scarlett to look after Ashley and her (Melanie's) son Beau. She also tells her to be kind to Rhett Buttler because Rhett loves Scarlett so much. Rhett leaves Scarlett the night of Melanie's death because he sees her give Ashley a consoling hug. Scarlett has just realized that Ashley loves Melanie and has never loved her, but Rhett sees the hug as more evidence that Scarlett loves Ashley and he storms out, deciding to leave her. When he tells her he is leaving, that is when she decides to go home to Tara, her home, the one thing she loves above any man.

Okay gone with the wind takes place in southern georgia and has one main family the ohara the main character is scarlett ohara who is an absolute brat well she is in love with a man named ashely wilkes who teases her thorugh out the whole movie he ends up marrying his 1st cousin melanie who scarlett saves and become friends with melanie thinks the world of scarlett when everyone else does not now this is the time of the confederate when the civil war in the united states takes place the oharas lose everything even there precious home called tara which scarlett refers too all though the movie.. her mother dies form bad health and her father dies from fallin off a horse.. scarlett eventually marry's 3 times once to get ashley jealous two for money to save her precious tara( the husband was in love with her sister and vice versa but scarlett seduced and lied to him) and 3 to rev beuttler and gambler and a womanizer she twice a widow.... her marriage to rev seems too good to be true when she has her child named bonnie , i believe, and then does not want another one but she does get pregant and accidentally falls down the stairs she does not forgive rev for that and ends up witnessing the death of her daughter the exact same as her fathers finally mealnie dies and rev finaaly gives up on winning scarletts heart which is sad beacuse that is when scarlett realizes her love for him and he answers with the famous "fankly, i don't give a damn" and she goes back to terra... but its really hard to summarrize the whole movie so intacted the summary website which is really nice hope it works for ya

Fuzz, old man, the movie is 3 hours or more long. It is one of the only movies that had an intermission. Rent it tonight and just watch it.
