Chairs are good conversation starters.

Well, I happen to LOVE chairs. Nice place to plop ones derierre. I really love antique chairs. Too bad I don't care to pay the price I've seen on some of them. I've seen some nice older chairs on ebay but by the time you pay shipping sometimes you have gone over the real value. My current home isn't decorated in a tropical atmosphere but I still love rattan furniture. I do have wicker chairs on my front porch along with two big wooden rockers. I love lots of cushions and pillows in chairs...makes them very inviting. Oh, and little side chairs are so neat to place dolls, bears, more pillows or baskets on. And old milking stools and the like are a wonderful place to display old working waterfowl decoys. And for the younger set some of the video chairs look seriously cool. Speaking of chairs...I have dining room chairs I need to recover...uggg!

They make me sit up and take notice, and they are supportive. They don't lay down on the job, although a few do incline to recline and have declined to be interviewed. Some are energetilc, and some are just real lazy boys. They never got over losing the Ottoman Empire. Criticism does not sit well with them. Like proctologists, they see a lot of assholes.

Chairs have always been faithful to the union during sit-down-strikes. They always have a leg to stand on in court..I loves chairs..except for 'Ol Sparky..

I have a deep-seated (ha-ha unintentional pun) hatred for windor chairs in people's homes as they remind of grotty country pubs. I can't sit on one without wanting a nice pint of bitter!

In general, they are made too small and uncomfortable these days. However, they aren't all that way (I wouldn't want anyone to accuse me of being chair-prejudiced). :) Sweet dreams!

i hate them, kill all the chairs. burn them and send em to hell. let my people stand. comfort is for the weak, we can not have such weakness as these things called chairs in our society. stand my people, stand raise up against the evil chairs.
