What do you think that the best class for WoW is?

I am starting to play WoW really soon, but I have no idea what race and class to make my main character. What do you think the coolest one is?

It TOTALLY depends on what you want to do.

Tank: (Attract damage for the team and hit enemies to do it) Fighter is best, Paladins aren't bad, neither are shamans and bear-form druids.

Nuke: (Maximum sudden damage, for BIG damage numbers) Mage. Well equipped druids and shamans can do it but not as well.

Heal and Buff: (Improve party stats and keep them alive.) Priest, Paladin, Shaman, and Druids. That is it, no other class should even try.

DPS: (Damage per second. Do tiny amounts of damage all the time, it adds up fast.) Rouge, Rouge, Rouge. Warlocks too I guess.

Pets: (Have partially controlled creatures that fight for you.) Hunters and Warlocks are it in this category.

Solo: (Do it all yourself.) Hunters and Rouges are probably best at this, but really any class can solo if you know what you are doing.

Hybrid: (What ever needs doing, you do) This is what Druid and Shaman where made for. Paladins are also hybrid.

PVP: (Killing other players) This depends on your server really. PVP superior classes change every time someone comes up with a new strategy.

As for race, first chose a faction, then choose a race you like the look of that has your class. While racial ablities are useful, the choice isn't really critical except for what classes you get.

It relies upon thoroughly on race. i'd say widely used, that druids are incredibly the least used. yet once you walk into Thunder Bluff, you notice druids and hunters everywhere. in case you walk into Orgrimmar, you notice warriors predominantly. The Blood Elfs are often Paladins ect. in case you prefer to be a clergyman, do it. I could say, you will by no ability could wait in LFG in the adventure that your healz lol. Im a hunter and that i must be thoroughly tricked and specced out, yet im dps so i by no ability get picked. i'd bypass with priest, or in case you're able to be the least used, then bypass with druid.

whatever you do, dont be a Draenie Shaman or a Blood Elf Pally, EVERYONE has one, be something like a BE mage, or a BE priest for te horde (you have got to have a Tauren Druid)

for allys, be a dwarven pally, best that can be...

A human Preist is the best you can heal you and others its a very easy character to play with

i think the human pally is the best, some people say the are over powered but i think they are perfect for new players
