Mexican strat pickups?

Question

I'm thinking about upgrading to some better pickups in my mex strat. Any suggestions of which ones are good? I like a vintage clean sound.

I had the same problem. I bought a Mexican Strat for $200 and then I realized the tone was thin as aluminum foil. Then I bought some Seymour Duncans with the intention of turning it into a super versatile guitar. One of them was a SSL1 vintage pickup in the neck, a Cool Rails in the middle and a Hot Rails in the bridge. It was ok. The SSL1 sounded the best. If I did it again I would probably go all vintage. You can also look for some Tall Boys.

certain particular it is going to alot of guitars are made in mexico it dosent advise they are undesirable the pickups can help the sound high quality.....its more often than not a cost aspect the more beneficial you spend on a guitar the more beneficial useful aspects it ought to have more beneficial advantageous timber more beneficial advantageous tonal sound more beneficial advantageous resonance more beneficial advantageous hardware, tuners pickups ect

cause i dont know what kind of pick ups you already have im assuming they are the traditional 3 single coil pick ups
