It's presidents day, a holiday which used to be Washington's birthday, so he had to say something about Washington, in a speech that was also supposed to be about terror, His speech writer managed to get both of those things in the speech, but did a poor job of linking them.
You dont think W believes any of that **** he reads, do you?
Mt. Vernon is a nice place, I'd like to have a job where I could go there and still be working, would'nt you?

That is ridicules. In the Revolutionary War or The Cilver War in which The Redcoats called it. The Americans were the rebels or the insurgents. Yep, President Bush got the good guys and the bad guys mixed up.
