Is this a case of massively low self-esteem?

They just don't have any common sense or a life.

I am one. And I am a frustrated tutor because I have no students now. I love learning. I love sharing sharing that with others.
I try not to give complete answers, but to get the student's imagination stimulated. Sometimes I cannot help myself if the answer can be kept short.
And I don't mind. It's not a case of low self-esteem. It's sharing what I know and love. It's hoping I can give a boost to a kid that will drag him/her along the learning path. The more we learn, the more we learn. My life is very rich because I was a curious kid and raised 2 brothers.
Perhaps one day, you will be one of "these people" who help others. There is no better feeling that stimulating the minds of young people. The light in their eyes when they "get it" keeps my spark going. Did that answer your question?

All they do is ask questions on what they don't understand. They don' ask people to do all of their homework. Some just ask for ideas or advice. It doesn't have anything to do with self-esteem, they are just looking for some good advice.

sometimes you do need help understanding things, but if you put for example a math problem on here you should just ask how to do it not for the answer. i ask question that my teacher may not have explained that well in class or is at home project just to get an idea what to do. no one should ask for answers just explanations!

sometimes, kids really do not understand their homework and ask for help and i think that is fine. but when you do no how o do it, but your lazy...that is stupidness. i think people who do hw for free are just trying to help, but it is kind of cheating if you think about it.
