How can I clean the screen of my laptop?

My Inspiron 600m screen is getting dirty and I would like to keep it clean. Any recomendations?

Go to a electronics store like Best Buy or Circuit City, and look for some special LCD cleaning wipes (they sell them there!). Thats usually the best way you can clean them. You could also do a damp cloth (not gritty!) with water (and DAMP, not soaking!) and just lightly clean over the screen. Doesnt do as good of a job, but it helps.

Do you find there are finger prints on it? If so, mine gets dirty like that too. When I got my laptop, it came with a little wipe that I keep in my laptop case. If not, you can use an eyeglass wipe and some spray-they're avalaible at an eye doctor's office. I'm sure you could be able to buy a wipe at WalMart of Target, though. Also, if you get spray to clean your screen, do NOT use Windex-it just creates streaks on your screen.

Soft cotton cloth (i.e. old t-shirt) with warm soapy water. Wet the cloth just enough to help remove the dirty spots on the screen. Use a dry portion of the same cotton cloth to dry out and "polish" your screen. Dont use any chemical based cleaners, you're only asking for trouble later down the road.

i spray windex on paper towel and wipe mine i know they say ur not supposed to but i have never had any problems
