I don’t usually watch American Idol, but I did over the weekend.
I was disappointed by the unfortunate departure of Sanjay’s sister, but I could not help my self from noticing that she was crying for herself, while Sanjay was crying for his sister!

His sister should have celebrated his success but she did not, and her brother rightly empathized with her not making it through and ignored his success.

He was surpisingly good. I caught their auditions and she was a bit over confident; if I recall correctly she did not rate her brother's talent very highly.
He's a most unlikely "soul" singer - I hope he goes far.
Did you see the 3 friends - the black girl with 2 white friends. Simon said that the black girl was in a totally different league to her friends! They were just about okay - she was pretty good. Well, there's a friendship down the pan!

I watched it too. Was that the guy and the girl who were sister and brother? They were both really good. I watched their auditions.
