rawlings are good, but really any small glove will do. 11 inches or smaller and no holes in the web, dont want ur fingers to get caught when tryin 2 get the ball out. Smaller gloves are actually easier 2 field w/ and better. That might sound backward but believe me its true. Most MLB shortstops use 11 or 11.5 inches and look how big they are. I had Rawlings heritage series......best glove i ever had.....pretty expensive tho but if ur son is older and good and gonna be at SS awhile i would look at them, if they make them anymore.

It depends on the price range you want. Rawlings Gold Glove Series is good, I prefer the Wilson A2000 models. They are a little more expensive but they are great gloves and the one I have I played with through high school and am still using it in college. It is still in great condition and it would be my recomendation. Maybe an 11 or 10.5 in pocket.

anyone of the rawlings gold glove series. there under a $100 and they are good quality or if you want a glove that will last a while i would go with one of the rawlings pro preferred theyre expensive but they last a long time 5+ years if u take care of it.

Honestly, I love my Wilson A2000. I play for a D3 college right now and im also a SS. I payed about 200.00 for the glove and havent looked back once on how expensive it was because it was well worth it. Also, you cant really go wrong wiht rawlings. Majority of the pros use rawlings too.
