I've heard different views. Some say that matching shoes with your purse is a must, some say that you don't have to... some say that you can match the purse with a belt...
What do you think?

You do not always have to match your purse with your shoes. It depends on what your wearing. If you are wearing something elegant, then match your purse and jewelry, if you are wearing something casual, then your purse should match your outfit like say shirt, belt, or headband. If you are wearing something like business type well then yes match your purse with your shoes.

Sometimes color coordinating is OK but putting out the time and money on a daily basis seems silly to me!
I wear what I want to wear and carry any purse convenient at the time.
If people are concerned about what I wear more than what is in me RAIN ON THEM!!
This Stupid fashion thing is so funny!
I have laughed for YEARS about the Silly people that want to be like everybody else.
One less worry for me and I usually look better than the people trying to match "The Latest Fashion"!

Well for me, it depends on your overall look. If your outfit is monochromatic from head to foot, then a different color of purse would look great as an accent.
If your outfit has already many different colors then to pacify your overall look, your shoes and purse should match.

i feel everytime i get a purse i have to get a color to match atleast one acesory that im gonna wear with it, so that includes shoes,watches,earrings,belts,etc.

no it makes you look like you tried to hard. the same color scheme is good but not perfect perfect
