FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD.....
There is plans for one more season, although whether or not there will be any after that is in debate. With the drop in the ratings that Smallville has suffered over the last year, it's not likely to keep going. If the people lose interest, or the show loses momentum, then they will pull it. Personally, I think there's a lot of room for improvement in the show, although it's decent as is, but needs an extra "oomph" if they're going to keep it going.

I don't think so. Smallville is by far the best show on air.
