Why is it we always say if only i'd told them how much i loved them? Why can't alot of people say this to loved ones when they're alive?

I know it can be hard dealing and your going throw a pretty bad time with someone dieing i would guess my dad died when i was 14 and i never got to say i love you before that its because sometimes god takes our loved ones faster than we can say goodbye but just know they still know you love them just pray and things will get better.....keep your head up and there is always hope:)

because people do not realize how much they appreciate someone until they are gone. then it hits them like a train. why didn't i tell them this when they were alive? of course it is too late to tell them once they die. sure you can say it but it is just not the same as if they were still around. i think that everyone should at least try to tell everyone that they are close to that they love them to avoid the circumstance that there is no second chance to tell them. hope this helps. good luck.

sometimes people don't want to swallow their pride and say it.
sometimes they have had a lot of bad experiences with that person and don't know how they will react.
sometimes they don't know how.
sometimes they can't.
sometimes they don't want t until they can't.
My mother is going through this right now. Her sister just passed and she feels so bad because they weren't closer than they were and she feels at fault. Even though she tried to be there for her sister and she lied and stole things everytime my mother let her near...she still tried and I can't seem to convince her that was all she could do. She feels so much guilt about everything.
I hope that things get better for you soon if you are going through this. Just know that they will.

Because we all take life and our loved ones for granted. We think our loved ones are going to be around for while and neglect to remind them that we love them. It's human nature...

trishbabe it's because today we're all so busy and yes it's sad we dont do it enough when they're alive, Very Sad

i think its cuz we are too involved with ourselves and our feelings and dont think about any thing else its sad but its true
