Both actually, because a smile shows in the eyes and leaves a longer lasting impression.

Most of the time it would be the eyes for me, however, if the lady smiled and had really yellow teeth or somethig bad like that it really wouldn't matter, I would probaly turn and walk away. I'm sure that sounds bad but I cann't help it.
