OK. At how many weeks Does a baby begin feeling pain? I've seen a video clip of an abortion of about 14 weeks that was avoiding the needle, and violently resisting. Yet all the medical doctos and stuff claim a baby wont start veelinf pain until approx 22 weeks. ALso, who do Doctors conduct these expiriments to justify their facts? thanks

That video was made by pro-lifers, they probably hooked that needle up to electrity to make the fetus move. That was clever of you, the way u avoided saying "it" in your post.

First, what makes you think it was experimentation? Amniocentesis is only one legitimate procedure that uses a needle.

Why am I pro choice? Because I believe there are worse things that can happen than a death with a limited amount of pain. Try a lifetime of hellish abuse as an example. Adoption is NOT the answer. Jjust ask the foster kids who never will be adopted for reasons entirely beyond their control, or the couple who must invest large amounts of cash they don't have to adopt. For those of you who are pro life, put your money where your mouth is and adopt these kids. While you are at it, support an adoption process that is simple, quick, & doesn't cost an arm or a leg.

Pro choice does not mean abortion on demand without limits, at least in my book. That is exactly what we had before abortion became legal; we just didn't hear about it very often. And it was almost always done by people who were not qualified in unsanitary conditions, often by the women themselves. As a result, many of those women died. What is so pro life about that?

When does a baby first feel pain? I don't know. But a fetus does hear & feel pain long before birth. Any expectant mother, or father, who is paying attention knows that. C'mon. guys. Let's be clear about that.

These are good questions.
But they are part of the whole problem with this whole debate.
Doctors and many other 'professionals' are making so much money out of this that many don't want to come out and just say what they know is true. It's just like how the oil companies make so much money that they have so much power to prevent cars that run on any other fuel like hydrogen, to be used.
To anyone with common sense, seeing these videos of LIVE babies avoiding instruments jammed in to their warm quiet womb, not only answers the obvious question of whether the baby is alive, but also that it feels pain. To the crazy 'doctors' that make money off of it, they pathetically excuse it as "reflexes."
"Yeah, the baby is simply exhibiting reflexes when I pierce it, but it's still not alive." BS.

So we may never know when science will allow a definitive time when a baby feels pain. But put it together yourself..a heart is beating at 5 weeks. Measurable brainwaves at 6...what do you think?

So if I agree with the terms of abortion, I'm morally corrupt? That's a sad, idiotic assumption from a certain somebody, seeing as nature also takes part in abortion, in her own way...

Aside from that, I don't really know when a baby begins feeling pain. Try Wikipedia, or Google it. There's bound to be something out there with that kind of info.

Legally, an "individual" means a human being who is alive, including an unborn child at every stage of gestation from fertilization until birth

So a fetus can probably feel pain either way, it's alive isn't it and considered an individual. How do the doctors know what the baby feels? They can't talk and say oh yeah I feel something. I guess from what you said about them avoiding the needle. If they avoid the needle, they must feel something

I don't think it has any feelings till it's out of the mother. And besides this I love it when the abortion people hate abortion but think the war is o.k. Does it hurt when you are shot? Lets worry about the living and breathing besides there are only 4 billion too many on earth right now to sustain us for another 50 years but hey I guess that's why the rich are buying shuttles-got a ride?!

Isn't it amazing. Hands up all thoes who are in favour of abortion. Funny, I haven't noticed any of the unborn with their hands up. What I notice is a mixture of people who have never had children and people who are more concerned with themselves than any children. People who shouldn't really have children in the first place. For what do they do when they have them? They kill them.

They kill them for a variety of reasons. Rape, Incest, Finance, Convenience, Sex and a variey of illogical and lunatic reaons. The first two they add suffering to suffering-evil to evil. The third they trade the lives and future of their own children for some dirty pieces of paper. The others-well the loony bin is waiting. And what justification do they kill them? Upon unproven theories going against the grain of life that has lasted millions of years. Or if you believe in creation-created by an all powerful, all knowing, all loving and infinite and infalible God. What they won't admit is that as far as the exact time of humanity of a feotus: they haven't the slightes clue. We do know generally, but this is a minumum.
They are prepared to sacrifice life and future on an uncertainty-an uncertainty which is extremely doubtful. If they did have the evidence then there would be no debate. The very fact that there is a debate attests to the fact of NO EVIDENCE-NO PROOF.

Now if I don't know a substance is dangerous, I don't come along and say that there is no proof that it is therefore I will take it. Most likely the proof will come soon enough-when they are carrying me out on a stretcher or worse. To do so would be madness. Yet these people who support abortion not only want to do that very same thing but do it on OTHERS. Either they are very very stupid or worse. If they recond, then let them experiment on themselves-if they can't then they should bud out of the lives of the innocent unborn. If a person is on a life support and there is a chance they will recover-then if you turn it off, with the spurrious excuse that that person is not on their own life system-then prison or worse awaits you. Similarly a baby is on a NATURAL mother's life support system-it is the way of things, but is still a human being, therefore to kill it is to kill a human being. Just like killing a baby because it can't walk or talk. Call it what you like-murder is still murder.

So if these people have no absolute evidence and proof for their nonesense then I would advise them to stop advocating a mother's right(and what kind of mother, probably the other kind) to terminate another's life upon the insane excuse of justification against what is happening naturally. And I would advise them to go home, put their slippers on, and there feet up , and stop wasting everyone's time. For it is just sheer lunacy to kill a human being before actually having absolute evidence. In fact it is wrong to kill a human being who is innocent- PERIOD. Would these people put the danger upon themselves in a same situation without absolute proof, would they forfiet their own lives if and when it is proven absolute of the humanity of the feotus? In contast to those who preserve and try to SAVE lives. I think not. These people are very good in sacrificing the lives of the innocent, the lives of the helpless-but when it comes to their little fingers-they all turn to liquid S**T. These fiends, these gouls must be stopped. They must be crushed. For a species that does not take care of it's young, a species that does not take care of it's own future-WILL FALL.

Does a brain dead body feel pain? No, you have to have a brain to feel pain. The fetus feels none until the third trimester, the point abortions aren't allowed except in strict circumstances.

Babies don't begin to feel pain until they're 18 months old so I say that if a parent actually has the kid and then decides a couple months after it's been born that they don't want it, they should still be able to have it aborted.

You need to stop watching that anti-abortion crap....

Pick up a few books and read the TRUTH instead of sensational propaganda from those who want to take away a womens right to make decisions concerning her own body.

YOu are probably young and impressionable...it's a good time to learn to read, research and make up your own mind about things.

Think about it... where does life start? Conception. Without that first moment of conception none of us would be here either. It's not about the "pain factor" lots of people die instantly with no pain... it's about life and where it begins. These doctors who conduct these experiments are the ones who get paid to kill babies and I believe they have no FACTS. The only fact is, is that they are baby killers.
