A good bat at a good price would either be a 2006 easton stealth ( the yellow one) which goes for about 200 on sale. Otherwise go for a Louisville omaha

I just priced some Easton Stealth Cmp bats. $380 to $420. Do you really think it will give you $180 worth of performance over a $200 bat? I don't think so. I had a lot of success with an Eason I picked up at a second hand sporting goods store. If you can hit, you can hit.
Buy a good $200 bat, and put the other $180 away towards college. Or, spend it on batting lessons.
