If you've had him six years, chances are he hasn't gone far. Put out some strong smelling food, like tuna in oil or bad apples. He's probably used to regular feeding, and will get hungry enough to crawl out of hiding if he smells something good.

I wouldn't give up hope just yet if I were you. Since you've had him for so long, perhaps he will find his way back. Turtles have an excellent homing sense, so he could certainly make his way back to you just as a dog or cat would. I would put up signs in the area, you might get lucky

Have faith. The pet turtle will turn up. I think you'll find him close by in some dark refuge. Use the experience to appreciate the time you have with any of the things you love.

particular,did you come across him? If he's eco-friendly and brown and has a greenish shell that must be McGillis. you are able to save him nevertheless because of the fact he by no ability listens and has run up my cellular telephone bill to the element the place i can not have the money for to feed him anymore. sturdy success and conceal your telephone!

If you have a fenced yard, or walls, or thick bushes, check in them to see if it is still nearby. Otherwise, luring and trapping turtles is tough.

I don't know how to get her back besides looking for her, I loss one of my turtle I know how upset you must be. Good Luck and I hope you find her!

look in your back yard behind a bush or something, a turtle can't get very far before dieing
