There is actually no such thing as American Cheese. It is either a cheese food or cheese product.
For a natural alternative, try Cheddar.
I enjoy looking up food products on Wikipedia. I've learned a lot about cheese. Cheddar is definitely my choice!

I only like the cheese that squirts out of the can under pressure. Serve with Ritz crackers and I'm the socialite of the block.

I saw some of that in the supermarket in a squirty can and the label said it didn't need refrigerating and you could warm the can up in the microwave as many times as you liked and then let it cool down and use it again and again! No sh1t! What the hell do they put in their food that you can do that with it? Disgusting!!

yes I love cheese almost any kind. cheese omelets, cheesesteak, cheeseburger, cheese pizza, cheese on my salads, just plain cheese-yummy
