I have this forsberg jersey.. its a replica and the numbers and letters are not sewn on.. how do you take them off and add sakic name and numbers.. so i can sell it...

Keep it. When they retire his number in Colorado it may be worth keeping.

The first question is do you have a #9 in the Avalanche font? If you don't, you really have no prayer of selling it with the work you have done on it. Also, the advesive may still show, no matter how well you try to clean it off. Also, you'll need the name plate.

Sometimes, the patches and numbers will come off with enough heat. When that happened to my 1996 Mighty Ducks 3rd jersey, we sewed the patches back on where the adhesive showed on the white shoulders.

I don't know if it will work to do what you want, but try a source of heat (such as a hair dryer on high setting from about 6 inches away). The sew the numbers on, as well as the nameplate.

that must mean they are iron-ons. they are hard to take off and you might have to pay a lot. you should just sell the forsberg jersey. i know u may not like that answer, but if u try do it u may ruin ur jersey.
