its a christian song, hes referring to god lifting him up to be "more than he can be"

i think he's talking about god b/c its like a gospel song and he doesnt literally mean "raise me up" he means like u make me feel higher and above myself

really stupid question, but i think he's talking about either God or someone who has supported him through his music career.
