I agree with the people who say GoodFellas, Raging Bull, The Deer Hunter, Taxi Driver, Casino etc. b/c they are all very good movies. But for his best, The Godfather Pt II.

Godfather, Part 2
You can see him acting in a role that would define his career, but yet off-beat a little 'stroonze' in the head, in Mean Streets. The movie was filmed 10 blocks away from where we was RAISED, so he's drawing on what he knew. Godfather, Part 2 as the the young Vito C. encompasses about everything he's ever do after that, in the gansta role reprisals.
