Given an aquatic frogs sensitivity to aquarium salt, I was wondering what sort of fish would be considered a compatible tank mate?

Most freshwater fish will be fine without any salt in the water, so basically retty much anything that won't eat the frog or won;t be eaten by the frog as it grows.

If they are clawed frogs no fish will last long with them (they turn into tasty snacks) With dwarf frogs any tropical fish larger than the frog will do. Do not keep them with guppies, though. At night guppies rest on the bottom of the tank and the frogs will bite at them. I keep mine with a betta and all seems well. Just make sure to have a large enough tank to support the fish and frogs you intend to keep.

Well, freshwater fish do not need any aquarium salt(hence the name, freshwater fish) so there are many many fish that could go in there. Do not get pirahnas, they will eat the frog in no time.

Before I can give you a reasonable suggestion, what size is your tank??

Well what kind of frog? African clawed frogs will grow considerably large and eat alot of fish. African dwarf frogs will be fine with most community freshwater fish

What type of frog?

If your not sure, I would consider snails, bamboo shrimps, Mollies, or a different non-aggressive large fish.

I wouldn't recomend buying them friends if they're cave frogs or another large type, cause your fish may disaper with them.

Anything that he can't fit in his mouth. And if it ever outgrows it, it will become his dinner.
