I asked earlier "How many Liberals/Dem/Progressives out there Hope the USA wins in Iraq?" It turns out that none of the libs know what "win" is. Clinton did not know what "is" or "sex" was, and now it appears they have no idea of what winning in Iraq would look like. How can we elect such to position of power that they do not know what victory "is".
For the record- victory is when the insurgents are dead, captured, pardoned and integrated, where there is relative security- like LA, when the Iraqi govt can continue to flourish.

Power means that you are strong and steady and mean what you say!!The lib/dems would rather sit down and talk or maybe bargain. They would like everything to be equal;in other words they can't make a firm decision and are spineless!!

The only thing that has really happened with Iraq is it created a physical battleground for the "War On Terror." It gave the terrorists a place to kill Americans that was closer to home and the administration a way to "battle" terrorism militaristically, or at least be able to count the bodies. It also keeps the "fight" off of American soil.
I mean, never mind all of the people whose lives are now in turmoil due to the American invasion. They're different and wear turbans, so we're obviously superior.
And why does everyone always say something to the effect of "Liberals only see the power that they could hold" blah, blah blah. HELLO!!! It's politics!!!! That's all anyone cares about!! You can't trust ANYBODY!!!! By the time a politician gets to the level where they're running for president, they're in so many peoples pockets that they don't even know what their own opinion is anymore! You always end up voting for the lesser of two evils.
I just prefer to vote for the candidate that realizes that there is a world outside of the U.S.

All Federal politicians are rich. component of that is because of their huge salaries; component of that is because money = huge marketing campaign = extra votes than any center-type candidate. And that is no longer as if conservatives are a lot extra useful. the better-type tax breaks contained in the previous were customarily correct-wing initatives. that is why i'm neither Democrat nor Republican. that is only a remember of choosing between 2 pedantic despots - the purely distinction is which lie they are telling on the on the spot.

I didn't think the celebration of mediocrity was this rampant. If my son, who is 7, can see through the thinly-veiled hypocrisy of getting a trophy from AYSO soccer, even though his team was mediocre at best, does winning actually mean anything anymore.

And yet YOU were never able to define what "winning in Iraq" means either. Could that be because we have no clear enemy in Iraq?
Of course Liberals can be trusted with power. Certainly more than some recent conservatives.
ETA: Thanks for the definition. Do you mean Shiite insurgents, or Sunni insurgents?

We lost in Iraq a long time ago: no WMD, no link of Hussein to al-Qaida. Read the 9/11 report.
We could have spent our time going after Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida.
How can we trust "borrow and spend" Republicans with power? with our money? no way, with our personal liberties? no way.

Well the Senate and Congress are Democratically dominated now.
"Liberal" is a meaningless word designed to keep people like you occupied, like a baby rattle.

they can't, all they can see is the power that they would hold. If a Democrat is elected as president, with a Democrat Congress... hold on to your wallets because it will be a BUMPY ride!
