There are so many choices: you have Yngwie Malmsteen, Dimebag Darrell, Jimi Hendrix, K.K. Downing, Eddie Van Halen, Randy "The MAN" Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Then you can choose others I didn't list. It's all your opinion and view

Wow, actually I'm not sure. I love pretty much all guitarists, but if I had to choose one I would probably say Joe Satriani. Amongst my other top favourites I would choose Jimi Hendrix, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker and Zakk Wylde....Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Slash.
So many awesome guitarists out there with such unique styles!

I still love Leo Kotke, but find his music a but difficult to find. My favorite CD of his was from the early/mid 70's. I can never remember the name of it, therefore am lost to find it.
