The 2008 NBA All-Star Game will be played on February 17, 2008 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, home of the New Orleans Hornets. The game will be the 57th annual All-Star game. The event will mark the first All-Star game in any of the professional sporting leagues to be played in New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

In the big NO A.K.A. New Orleans and as the lady said to help even more with the Katrina hurricane. I bet like 20% of profits (which is like a million) will go to the City.

not just profits from the game but all the people coming to the city for the game and festivities
a TON of celebrities come and all the film crews not to mention the players themselves
there will be billions of dollars (combined net worths) coming to the big easy and a ton of money changing hands
that will help a lot for a struggling economy
